While my work as an editor over the last several years has seen my favorite work accomplished in Google Docs, the CMS, email, or elsewhere, I find reporting and writing to be endlessly rewarding—and sometimes painful. The writing I've done in recent years has typically occurred after 5 p.m., once the regular day is over.
